The 7th annual show was held on March 10th, 2018 at the park in Wesley Chapel. For car enthusiasts who are used to asphalt parking lots, this location is ideal; most of the car parking spaces are located beneath the mossy oaks intertwined among the RVs. Yes, there is shade!
Usually, there are about 100 entries for this event, and early indications pointed to that number. The usual classic rides were there (Mustangs, Chevelles, GTOs -love them all), but when was the last time you saw a Mack Truck, AMC, or Comet Convertible out and about?
One of the nicest looking vehicles was Doug Fetterly’s 1936 Chevrolet from Lake Bonepart, NY. This vehicle was restored by NY stock car driver Mert “Socks” Hulbert (click HERE for details). Doug had bought this truck for $100 when returned from duty in Vietnam in 1968 It was then stored in a barn for 42 years before restoration was started. Quite the outstanding project.
If you enjoy looking at the show photos, you will surely want to put this event on your 2019 calendar. View more photos HERE.
