This car show a tribute to a wonderful young man who left us much too soon. Branden Penegar was an active member of the GUMC Youth group who was called home to heaven on March 9, 2013, a couple months shy of his 21st birthday. All proceeds from the show benefit the GUMC Youth building fund. Any make, model, or year car or truck is welcome. Awards for the Top 25 plus specialty awards. Music from The Southern Revival Band plus food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Registration is 8-11am. Display only is $15. Spectators are free.

Presented by the Suncoast Mustang Club. The car show is in conjunction with “Country in the Park” festival hosted by Pinellas County. Proceeds from the event to help support Lealman Fire Department and other charities. There will be food, vendors, live music, and many things to do with the kids. This is a very well attended event that is limited to the first 135 registered entrants. There are 26 classes with 56 trophy’s awarded. Door prizes, 50/50, raffle items, and event t-shirt sales. Swap meet and vendor spaces are $25 each. Pre-registered judged show cars $25 each. Day of, non-judged show cars $10 (first come, first in and limited to open spots). Spectators are free.
The Indian River Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) sponsors this popular and much anticipated show. Approximately 325 cars are expected to be on display. Plenty of free parking is available. Spectators are free. There will be things of interest to all ages. The show will feature a flea market, a food court, and a specified area car corral for selling cars. The local Antique Auto Club is partnering with the U.S. Postal Service to collect food to help “Drive Out Hunger” in Indian River County. Those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to the show in support of this worthy cause. Show registration starts at 8 a.m. and ends promptly at 11. All antique, classic, prestige, foreign, special interest, commercial and modified vehicles are welcome. Dash plaques will be given to all vehicles registered for judging. Trophies will be awarded in 15 classes.

This year’s car show is in memory of Mr. Cosby, who had been a resident of Crestwood Nursing Center and a judge for the car show plus Mikhail Antonik, a former maintenance assistant and a classic car enthusiast. Mikhail moved to America from Russia in 2010 and dreamed of becoming a American and in 2015 after many classes, test and paperwork that dream came true for him. Trophies will be awarded for classic and best pre-classic plus don’t miss out on the best looking engine award.

A 50/50 drawing is held every month. The Panhandle Cruiser Car Club Inc. is a not profit corporation and we are founded on the principles of encouraging restoration, repair, or modification of special interest vehicles.
