This is an AACA judge show for original or restored to original vehicles that are 25 years or older only. No hot rods, modified or custom vehicles will be allowed on the show field. Vehicle owners must be a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America to participate. Preregistration is required before Feb 1. The automotive and antique swap meet features vendors selling engines, wheels, bumpers, seats, steering wheels and grilles, among other parts, for restorers in search of just the right piece to finish up their projects. For the collector, there are books, model cars, vintage signs, and other memorabilia. In the car corral, car bodies with perfect patinas sit strapped to trailers awaiting the right buyer to bring them back to life. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to cars voted fan favorites on ballots handed out at the entrance. $10 general admission (children 12 & younger free), $10 car corral space, $10 vendor space 15’x20′, $10 show car. The Celebration of Cars, a family-oriented festival that includes over 300 antique, classic and modern automobiles. The annual event is sponsored by the Antique Automobile Club of Cape Canaveral (AACCC) which is the local affiliate of the Antique Automobile Club of America. The festival this year features “The Fabulous Fifties” – a tribute to the fins and chrome of vehicles built between 1950 and 1959. Over seventy 1950’s vehicles will be on display. This year’s celebrity guest will be Dennis Gage known for his popular long-running TV show, “My Classic Car”. Dennis will be available for photos, autographs, and special award presentations. The American Muscle Car Museum has agreed to open its doors to the public for this event. The general public will be permitted to enter the museum for a $20 charity donation and show registrants will be given free admission. Families are invited to the outdoor event which last year attracted over 1,000 spectators. Grounds admission is free. People can enjoy food vendors, a Kids Korner of games, activities and face painting along with displays of award-winning cars. A 50/50 drawing is held every month. The Panhandle Cruiser Car Club Inc. is a not profit corporation and we are founded on the principles of encouraging restoration, repair, or modification of special interest vehicles.
