Lariat top line trim. Leather interior. Electric 60/40 seats with lumbar and arm rest. Cold A/C. Tilt wheel with cruise control. AM-FM stereo cassette with remote CD player. Rear vent side windows, back glass slider window. Fold down seat bottom rear. 3 door version in 1997. Subtle flare side bed. Torsion bar cast iron suspension, 8.8 rear diff, tough! Borla exhaust. BBK throttle body. Extensive Super chip program for mileage and performance, 300 hp.
Garage kept and parked in shade. No flaws in interior or exterior, perfect paint no scratches. Has 17-inch option sized wheels. LT265-70-17 Michelin LTX with 9 32nds tread showing. This truck is in new condition. You have to see it in person to believe its condition. 129k miles, I don't use much, never a work truck, a few bags of mulch. Never used off road, bottom of truck is perfect. Never towed anything. This is more a super nice collector truck. No electronics everything like newer trucks to cause headaches. Original 8-cyl. 4.6L EFI Winsor Canada produced engine, not Romeo Michigan car engine. These were much beefier Modular engines for the 4x4 trucks. I have added a BBK Larger throttle body and extensive designed Super Chip for fuel mileage and better performance. I average 19mpg highway. Borla mellow exhaust. Absolutely zero oil leaks anywhere in the power train.
Truck has disc brake front and drum rear. I have replaced 1 set pads and 1 rear shoes, rear cylinders and front calipers in 129,00 miles. All original Ford parts used. 4x4 has oversized rotors and drums and stops very well.
4R70W 4 speed auto overdrive trans in this truck. I have always used Amsoil full synthetic fluid in my trans and transfer case since new. Trans functions absolutely perfect with zero leaks.
Everything on my truck functions and works properly. I have always done any needed repairs right away and over maintained fluids on the truck. I have babied this truck because I planned to keep forever. New trucks are totally out of control on price. 75k on Platinum versions of F150 now, same trim as the Lariat in 1997. I still have the window sticker. No warranty included with sale.
