Friday, March 22nd – Sunday, March 24th, see thousands of classic and custom cars for show and sale, a massive swap meet, arts and crafts in Artisan Alley, entertainment, great food and drink and the fan favorite classic car parade lap around the track! Featuring Dock Dogs, the world’s premiere aquatic canine competition on Saturday, March 23rd and Sunday, March 24th. Tickets are $10 per person Friday and Saturday and $5 on Sunday. The CLRDHOT! Cars and Coffee meetup is a monthly event where gearheads get together to show off their prized machines and shoot the breeze over coffee and donuts. It’s an open-to-anybody event that brings car enthusiasts together, whether they’re driving million-dollar exotics or just a beloved old beater. Family-friendly environment.
Proceeds will be donated to the Elks charities. Open to all years, makes and models of cars and trucks. Top 40, plus specialty awards. Free coffee, hot dogs and beverage for participants. Judging 9am-12pm, judging 1-2:30pm, awards 3pm. The lodge will be open to the public for refreshments and beverages. This is the rain date from Jan 27.
This is an open car and truck show which attracts 250-300 vehicles and averages around 1100 spectators. Proceeds benefit the Gamble Plantation Preservation Alliance and Manasota SOLVE Maternity Homes. Awards and specialty trophies, great door prizes and 50/50, food and concessions, music by Lance’s Cruzin to the Hop, and complimentary photos of your vehicle in front of the historic mansion.
Another great “lunch cruise” is scheduled at Anne Marie’s. The event is open to all classic, custom or cool rides. Horsepower Wars is all about showcasing the best in the automotive performance aftermarket. Open to all years, makes and models. Horsepower Wars will feature an all-out dyno competition to see who can put up the best numbers. We’ll have classes for naturally aspirated cars all the way up twin turbo’d track cars. Horsepower Wars is definitely focused on the power, but there’s no reason we can’t also appreciate all the hard work that goes into making some of the most eye-catching rides around. The show-n-shine event will have 5 winners taking home a cash prize and a product of choice.
