On Saturday, February 6th, nearly 200 Mustangs and other Fords made their way to Longwood, FL for the 34th Annual Mustang and Ford Roundup. This show is hosted and run by the Mid-Florida Mustang Club and draws participants from all over Florida. I spoke with someone who was unloading their racecar, and they had left Palm Beach at 4:00 AM to get to the show.
The streets of historic downtown Longwood and Reiter Park were filled not only with Mustangs and other Fords, but vendors, food trucks, and (happily) lots of spectators. There was a K-9 demonstration by the Cocoa Police Department as well. 138 cars were judged, following MCA guidelines. COVID safety dictated that the awards be presented a little differently this year, with awards being presented at staggered times, based on each of the different Mustang generations.
The 35th Annual Mustang and Ford Roundup is already scheduled for Saturday, February 5, 2022. Mark your calendar!
