Rick has been a car guy all of his life so he’s familiar with classics, street rods, and muscle cars. This little gem caught his eye…a Regal Red 1966 Chevy II Nova non-SuperSport, therefore it is not equipped with bucket seats and the special trim package but it has so many more rare options. Starting with the high-performance L79 327 engine option pumping out 350 horsepower, 4-speed Muncie transmission, and finishing with the 12-bolt 3:31 post traction rearend.
The phrase “frame-off restoration” has been casually thrown around for many, many years, and very few stand up to the level that it is meant to be. However, this little shoebox Nova absolutely is a nut & bolt, frame-off, superior quality restoration with not a part untouched. It is equipped with factory-style air conditioning (not original to this car), rare factory Fawn bench seat headrests, knee-knocker tachometer, correct exhaust resonators, optional rear mounted antenna (usually found only on SS models), and the optional emergency flashers. Many of the options cannot be verified as to being original to this particular car but the research, correctness and attention to details that went into this build are outstanding. The rally rims were a personal upgrade from the factory hubcaps.
Rick is the proud owner of a top-quality, original-style beautiful Nova that he is extremely proud to own and drive.
